How does it work?
XPEL RX surface protection film contains Silver Ion Technology, an antimicrobial, fungistatic agent which makes the product greener and fresher by inhibiting the growth of microbes, odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi on the product’s surface.
This top-layer of the protective film contains the Silver Ion Technology, while the layer underneath protects against impact and scratches while remaining incredibly thin at 11mil.
Where can it be installed?
XPEL RX is a surface protection film and it can be applied to any smooth flat serface that can benefit from anti-bacterial properties. Touch consoles in vehicles, door handles, and even countertops, phones, and tables too. We’ve installed the product on plenty of vehicle touch-screens and when commerciailly, there are hundreds of applications that can help stem the transmission of microbes between humans.
The film is applied using a wet-method and after twenty four hours to evaporate the remaining moisture it is virtually clear.
