Aftercare for tinted windows
You just got your windows tinted. Now what? There are some things to be concerned about when it comes to aftercare.
First, window tint film is a water mounted product that can take up to 2 weeks to completely dry. During this drying period it is absolutely normal to see a light cloudiness in the film and/or small water bubbles. It is extremely important that you do not roll down the newly tinted windows in your vehicle for 5 days after the tint has been installed, This is to avoid delamination or any shifting in the placement of the film before the adhesive has properly cured to the glass.
