Aftercare for your XPEL paint protection film
It is important to allow the XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection film to adhere to your vehicle for two days before washing it. After that you can wash the same as you normally would have before the product was installed. You can wax your vehicle including over the Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection film, you can even buff it, but make sure never to use more than 1000 psi pressure to avoid de-lamination.

They are a step above other XPEL installers as well, since they have factory training (not all licensThis was the fourth time I have used Goldwing for an Expel wrap on a Corvette that I have owned. The previous excellent product and application was what keeps me coming back. My latest C7 (2015) is another great example of the product and the application. Goldwing removed the older generic smaller front wrap and Expel wrapped the entire hood, head lights, mirrors, and fenders, removed the original GM clear rocker protection and Expel wrapped the rear fender area up to the factory bodyline. Washing the vehicle is much easier as I simply use a small blower and the water runs off.ed installers have this). Highly recommended.

How much does PPF cost?
Costs can vary drastically depending on the size of your vehicle, preferred coverage areas, film type and the shop you chose for your service. Partial coverage is less expensive than full-body wraps, which can range anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 or more. It is a considerable investment in the long term preservation of your vehicles appearance, condition and value.
Can PPF be removed later?
Yes, even after many years your paint protection film (PPF) can be safely removed. For removal, it is best to book with a dedicated shop like Goldwing. We have a factory trained team of professionals and over 30 years worth of auto car experience. We’ve mastered techniques that allow us to remove old films without damaging factory paint, especially if the original installation was properly prepped and maintained.
Can a ceramic coatings be applied over PPF?
Absolutely. Applying a ceramic coating over top of your PPF will improve the hydrophobic effects, increase your glossy shine, and extend the life of film and paint.
